Amber sunshine
What a strange name, I thought when I first meet this 6 month old baby girl.
First born child of Trish and Terry
And while all of there children were special in there own way, Amber always seem destined for greatness.
Over the years I came to understand why her name was Amber Sunshine,
Even as a child she would light up a room when she entered it.
Her smile and laughter were infectious and you could not help but feel good when she was around.
She had a knack for making all your problems seem small and unimportant when ever she would start dancing to Michele Jackson�s (Thriller) �her favorite song at 3 years old�
And she was always willing to listen.
Amber seem to have a wisdom well be on her years,
Even though I missed out on part of her adult life she was never far from my thoughts.
And I was not surprised to hear she had marred a great man, started raising a family or bought her first house.
I was not her father but I felt great pride every time she would send me a family picture.
�That�s my niece� I would tell to anyone that would listen, and I would brag about how well she was doing in her life, family and job as if she was my own daughter.
We never talked much on the phone but when we did we would talk for hours, I so loved hearing about her life, family and friends. And I will regret not being able to have seen her grow into the lovely young woman that she was.
Now I can think of no name that would fit her better then �AMBER SUNSHINE�
And now the sun is shining a little less on all of us!
I will miss you Amber, more then you could possibly know
And I will carry you memories with me till the day that I meet you again
I love you with all my heart
