We Loved a Lifetime

Everyday we were together was the greatest day of my life. She completed me, and I her. In the beginning, it was jokingly spoken that she was lucky finding love in someone like me, and I was lucky in turn. "She married me for my potential earnings." hehehe -- like I wooed her and courted her with charts and Gallup poll statistics, replete with projected demographics. I am who I am because of her. She made me reach higher, go further, and work harder than I ever imagined possible. And we realized a life worth living; we more than loved each other. That life was reflected in our children, our family, our dearest friends. We kept no secrets from each other; only the secret that it was no longer a secret from those who cared or who still thought so. How does one measure a lifetime, when that lifespan is immeasurable? We loved more in a single ember of the Brigid's flame of Kildare than most souls loved in several thousand lifetimes. I know. I shared mine with a Goddess.
